The Rainy River District School Board serves children age four and older. Download the Student Registration form or register your child for school from the comfort of your home and fill out the registration form online.
Our easy Online Student Registration is available for all grades, from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Our schools accept registrations throughout the school year, as well as one week after school gets out in June and one week prior to the start of school in late August.
You can also contact your school to set up an appointment. You will find contact information for all our schools at in the Our Schools section, or the school links on the home page of this website.
Once the registration form has been submitted, families will receive a confirmation email and will be contacted by the school. Families will finalize their registration by completing the form and handing in the needed paperwork.
Please have the following documentation and proof to register with the RRDSB:
- Child's birth certificate or other government document to show proof of age and legal name
- Proof of Canadian citizenship or legal status in Canada (if not a Canadian citizen)
- Record of child's immunization (measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus and polio)
- Proof of residence (such as a recent property tax bill, recent tax assessment, utility bill, etc.)
- Proof of custody - children must live with their parent(s) unless provided documentation supports an alternate living arrangement.
