To fulfill our mission of educating and inspiring all students to achieve their full potential in a safe and caring environment, the Rainy River District School Board will be conducting a Student Census from April 7 - May 8, 2026 to better understand the backgrounds, experiences and needs of our students and communities. We have partnered with Forum Research to develop and deliver the census. Our goal is to have every student in our Board represented through their completion of the survey.
Count Us In - RRDSB Student Census gathered identity-based student data to ensure that our programming and resources can be accessed by all students. Are there any barriers in the way of students achieving their very best? For example, do disabilities, language spoken, cultural background, and so on impact student success? No specific students are identified through the data; patterns and trends are identified but not specific students.
You can see the results from the 2022 Census by clicking here.
From our last Census we learned more about our unique student identities, and this informed programming we offered in our schools and professional learning for staff.
As our communities in the Rainy River District continue to evolve, by completing the Census you have your voice heard and help shape supports for students in our schools.
